Filipinos living and working in Saudi Arabia’s Dhahran and Hofuf areas benefited from recent consular outreach services rendered by the Philippine Embassy there.
In Dhahran, the Philippine embassy said it extended some 1,317 consular services during its “Embassy on Wheels” outreach program last April 26 and 27.
The embassy said the team processed 385 e-Passport applications, 45 extension of passport validity, two lost passports, 11 reports of birth, 42 authentication and 187 notarial services; and released 645 new e-Passports (https://riyadhpe.dfa.gov.ph/newsroom/announcements/112-consular-outreach-finished/5242-philippine-embassy-outreach-extends-1-317-consular-services-in-dhahran).
Leading the team was Vice Consul Von Ryan Ferrera. Members include Jose Rico Laurel, Virgilio Nazareno Jr., Lito Relucio, Acas Bayabao Jr., and Roger Bunao.
Also sent by the embassy were Rene Salazar and Faidah Haris to represent its Assistance to Nationals Section.
In Hofuf, meanwhile, the embassy held another outreach mission also on April 26 and 27 (https://riyadhpe.dfa.gov.ph/newsroom/announcements/112-consular-outreach-finished/5238-philippine-embassy-outreach-extends-439-consular-services-in-hofuf).
The team included Vice Consul Noel Rodriguez, Ernie Saavedra, Vivian Laurel, Ma. Luisa Collado, Joie Earnestine Santonia, Ghazzali Bien Gandarosa and Edgar Dizon. Nasrodin Usudan was also sent to represent the Assistance to Nationals section.
During the mission, the team processed 340 e-Passport applications, nine extension of passport validity, five reports of birth, and 59 notarial services; and released 26 new e-Passports.
The next consular outreach missions will be in Dammam from June 17 to 22.
